An internal comms incentive based around experiences to facilitate smart, collaborative, entrepreneurial ways of working together through the sharing of transformative ideas.
ISSUE
Creativity has been named the #1 most critical trait in corporate life today. There are many theories and studies which suggest that people almost universally exhibit genius-level creativity as young children but lose it as they become adults.
INSIGHT
We can be inspired to reconnect with our creativity through the stories shared by others, and unlock our previous experiences to discover new ways of thinking.
IDEA
A series of six experiences each year, centred around new ways of solving business challenges called Premier Inn[ovations]. Each session facilitates smart, creative, collaborative, entrepreneurial ways to advance our ideas with the intention of transforming our culture into a more creative, solutions-orientated environment.
IMPACT

Celia Gates is an award-winning design thinker. She is the creator of the Whether System™ and founder of the Global Brainstorm. Celia left a lasting impact on our approach to strategy, goal setting and decision making.
Her remarkable ability to produce ‘simplicity in complexity’ that enthuses and invigorates otherwise cumbersome processes, using everyone’s strengths.
We took part in a tile painting workshop to get creative when thinking about 'Brand Love' and what it significantly means to us a business. The tiles were all put together and are now proudly on show as an installation piece at our London HQ.
Thomas Alexander Heatherwick, CBE, RDI, HonFREng is an English designer and the founder of London-based design practice Heatherwick Studio. Since the late 1990s Heatherwick has emerged as one of Britain's most significant designers. An interactive workshop unlocked our team’s thinking about what they will and won’t accept in their status quo – and how to go about using curiosity to make their worlds of marketing, comms etc. better, richer, more successful.

Jane McAdam Freud is a conceptual sculptor and multi-disciplinary artist. We will be joining Jane in an interactive session exploring 'An Origin of an Idea'. We will discover how we can understand this thought provoking subject hosted by Sigmund Freud's great grand-daughter, and Lucian Freud's daughter Jane McAdam Freud.
